Equateur – L’archidiocèse de Guayaquil et le Ministère de la Famille organisent ensemble la Semaine de la famille. Celle-ci a débuté le 29 Septembre et s’étend jusqu’au 5 octobre sous le thème «la famille chrétienne: richesse et rénovation de la société et du peuple de Dieu ».
Cette reconnaissance par l’Etat équatorien de l’importance de la Famille chrétienne pour assurer le bien de la Nation a de quoi laisser rêveur tout catholique français.

La Semaine de la famille a commencé le lundi 29 septembre avec diverses messes pour les grands-parents et petits-enfants.
Le 30 septembre a été l’occasion de proposer de nombreuses conférences sur le thème de la Famille.
Le mercredi 1er octobre était consacré à la bénédiction des mères et des bébés.

Ce jeudi 2 octobre, de nombreux jeunes assisteront à la promesse de chasteté qui se déroulera dans la cathédrale métropolitaine de Saint Pierre Apôtre de Guayaquil. Cet événement réunit chaque année plus de 3500 jeunes, qui, avant cet acte de foi, ont suivi des conférences de formation sur ce sujet.
Le vendredi 3 octobre, les couples viendront pour le renouvellement des vœux de mariage dans chaque paroisse.
Le samedi 4 octobre, dans toutes les paroisses et les hôpitaux , la messe sera célébrée pour les malades.
