Recep Tayyip Erdogan, le candidat national-islamiste est arrivé en tête dans les pays suivants : Jordanie (77,5 %), Belgique (74,9 %), Pays-Bas (73 %), Autriche (72,3 %), Soudan (65,7 %), France (65,1%), Allemagne (64,8 %), Bosnie (58,9 %), Kirghizistan (58,5 %), Macédoine (58,4%), Danemark (57,6 %), Norvège (56,2 %), Egypte (56,1 %), Ouzbékistan (54,4 %), Arabie Saoudite (53,6 %), Chypre (48,8 %), Kazakhstan (46,5 %), Algérie (45,4 %), Australie (45,3 %) Suède (44,6 %), Azerbaïdjan (38,5 %), Suisse (37,3 %).

Selahattin Demirtas, candidat de gauche de la minorité kurde, est arrivé en tête dans les pays suivants : Irak (44,2 % contre 31,3 % pour Erdogan), Japon (36,9 % contre 38,5 % pour Erdogan).
Notons que là où la communauté turque est la plus massive, Erdogan fait un carton. Rappelons qu’en Turquie, les résultats furent les suivants :
- Recep Tayyip Erdogan en tête et réélu au premier tour avec 52,59 %, remporte 63 provinces sur 81.
- Muharrem Ince, 2e avec 30,64 %, remporte 8 provinces (toute la côte occidentale sauf Balikesir et Istanbul, plus Tunceli).
- Selahattin Demirtas, 3e avec 8,40 %, remporte 10 provinces (tout le Kurdistan sauf Bitlis)
- Meral Aksener, candidate nationaliste, 4e avec 7,29 %
- Temel Karamollaoglu, candidat islamiste, 5e avec 0,89 %
- Dogu Perinçek, candidat d’extrême gauchhe, 6e avec 0,2 %.
