Women on Web, une ONG néerlandaise, a annoncé mardi qu’elle offrirait des pilules abortives aux femmes enceintes à travers le monde qui craignent le virus Zika.
Comme par hasard, « Le virus Zika se répand pour la plupart dans des pays où l’accès à l’avortement est très réduit », notamment dans des pays catholiques très conservateurs, a déclaré à l’AFP Rebecca Gomperts, directrice et fondatrice de l’ONG Women on Web, faisant notamment allusion au Brésil, pays dans lequel on annonce 4 000 cas suspectés de microcéphalies sans prouver le lien avec le virus Zika.
L’Organisation mondiale de la Santé (OMS) a qualifié lundi d’« urgence de santé publique de portée mondiale » l’épidémie du virus Zika, transmis par un moustique, soupçonnée [il n’y a toujours aucune preuve démontrée] de causer des malformations congénitales.
Et l’OMS ne manque pas d’épouvanter les femmes en prétendant que le virus « pourrait » se propager « de manière explosive » dans la région des Amériques, avec 3 à 4 millions de cas potentiels en 2016.
Ce discours alarmiste de l’OMS sert de tremplin à l’association Women on Web connue pour promouvoir l’avortement et la pilule abortive. L’ONG mortifère propose d’envoyer des colis contenant une combinaison de deux sortes de pilules entraînant un avortement sans chirurgie, possible jusqu’à la douzième semaine de grossesse, selon Mme Gomperts qui a refusé de révéler combien de paquets ont déjà été envoyés.
