Selon le député-maire UMP de Levallois, Patrick Balkany, et malgré les démentis de Marisol Touraine, ministre de la Santé, plusieurs cas de personnes contaminées par le virus Ebola auraient déjà été signalés en France. Patrick Balkany a déposé une question écrite adressée à Marisol Touraine.
« Madame le Ministre a récemment déclaré que le risque d’importation du virus en Europe et en France était faible, ajoutant qu’aucun cas importé n’avait d’ailleurs été signalé. Or, selon des sources médicales fiables, plusieurs cas auraient été signalés sur le territoire français« , assure Patrick Balkany.
Au ministère de la santé, on dément mordicus : « Il n’y a aucun cas recensé en France, mais nous restons toutefois très vigilants« . Ce qui ne troublent pas les Balkany : « Avec la libre circulation, je ne vois pas comment la France pourrait être épargnée. On nous avait déjà fait le coup avec Tchernobyl« .
