Le Vatican voudrait-il empêcher que se répète l’affaire des affiches contre François placardées sur les murs de Rome au début du mois de février ?
Dans un communiqué publié mercredi 22 février, la Secrétairerie d’état du Saint-Siège explique qu’elle a créé un copyright très spécial concernant le nom, l’image et les symboles de la fonction papale. Elle précise que l’une de ses attributions est de veiller à protéger l’image du Souverain Pontife, « afin que son message puisse rejoindre les fidèles intègres ».
Pour mettre un terme « aux situations d’illégalités éventuellement rencontrées », elle « effectuera une surveillance systématique des modalités selon lesquelles sont utilisées l’image du Saint-Père et les blasons du Saint-Siège, en prenant si besoin les mesures appropriées » précise le communiqué de presse.
La salle de presse du Saint-Siège souligne que cette mise au point de la Secrétairerie d’état n’a rien à voir avec des faits récents qui ont été médiatisés….
