Le Vatican se penche sur la question de l’incardination des prêtres. Au cours d’une réunion interdicasteriale présidée par le pape François en présence de tous les responsables des dicastères romains l’argument des nouveaux « mouvements et réalités ecclésiales » a été évoqué par rapport au thème du sacerdoce.
Jusqu’à aujourd’hui seulement les prélatures personnelles et les ordinaires – ceux militaires comme ceux créés pour favoriser le retour des anglicans – avaient la possibilité d’incardiner des prêtres. Rome est en train d’étudier l’opportunité de donner cette faculté d’incardination également aux fraternités sacerdotales internes aux mouvements ecclésiaux laïcs.
Cette permission que pourrait offrir le Saint-Siège permettrait à ces nouveaux prêtres de ne pas dépendre directement pour ce qui regarde l’incardination des évêques locaux.
