Thierry Repentin a été un éphémère ministre délégué aux Affaires européennes, de mars 2013 à mars 2014.
Autrefois sénateur de Savoie et conseiller général de Chambéry, il fait partie des victimes de la déroute socialiste lors des dernières élections qui n’ont laissé aucun conseiller départemental PS ni en Savoie ni en Haute-Savoie.
Mais le parti socialiste n’abandonne pas ses fidèles serviteurs. Pas question de laisser Thierry Repentin dans la misère et l’oisiveté.
Après avoir été repêché par l’Elysée pour en faire un inspecteur général de l’Administration du développement durable, voilà qu’il a été nommé, par décret pris en Conseil des ministres, au poste éreintant de « délégué interministériel à la mixité sociale dans l’habitat ».
