Les dirigeants du Qatar ont des goûts de riches, c’est bien connu. Parmi ceux-ci, l’envie de disposer d’une armée démesurément puissante. 23 milliards de dollars vont être consacrés à l’achat de nouveau matériel militaire. Les émirs qataris ont l’intention d’acquérir 64 avions de combat, plusieurs avions de ravitaillement en vol et de transport de troupes, 22 hélicoptères, des batteries antiaériennes, des missiles air-sol et des véhicules blindés.
Du coup, les industries militaires américaine, française et allemande font les yeux doux au petit émirat du Golfe. Ne comptez donc pas entendre Barack Obama, François Hollande ou Angela Merkel faire la moindre allusion au financement de djihadistes par notre « allié » le Qatar…
