La presse britannique a dévoilé une correspondance du Prince Charles évoquant le » lobby juif « .
Il s’agit d’un courrier privé, datant de 1986, adressé à son ami Laurens van der Post, explorateur, après une visite dans le Golfe.
“Je comprends mieux maintenant le point de vue {des Arabes} sur Israël. Je n’ai jamais réalisé qu’ils considéraient cet Etat comme une colonie américaine. Je comprends maintenant que les Arabes et les Juifs formaient tous un peuple sémitique à l’origine C’est l’afflux de Juifs européens, surtout de Pologne, qui a contribué à causer de grands problèmes”, écrit le Prince Charles.
“Assurément, un président américain doit avoir le courage de se lever et de s’opposer au lobby juif aux Etats-Unis.”
Sans surprise, suite à la publication de cette lettre dans la presse, plusieurs représentants d’organisations juives se sont offusqués. Stephen Pollard,, le rédacteur en chef de l’hebdomadaire juif du Royaume-Uni Jewish Chronicle, s’est dit choqué de l’utilisation par le prince du terme “lobby juif”.
Il y a quelques jours, c’est Nigel Farage qui avait évoqué le » lobby juif « dans des termes assez similaires.
