EQUATEUR – Le samedi 28 décembre, durant son habituelle Rencontre citoyenne, le président équatorien Rafael Correa s’est prononcé sans équivoque contre l’idéologie du genre.
Bien qu’il se soit montré respectueux de ceux qui défendent la théorie du genre, le président équatorien refuse qu’ils « essayent d’imposer leurs croyances à tous » à savoir « qu’il n’existe pas d’homme et de femme naturelle, que le sexe biologique ne détermine pas l’homme et la femme, mais que ce soient les conditions sociales qui le déterminent ».
Rafael Correa a également dénoncé le fait que, dans beaucoup d’établissements scolaires, on assiste à un véritable endoctrinement en faveur de cette idéologie, qu’il qualifie de très dangereuse. « Ils l’imposent à nos enfants, il y a des gens qui sont en train de l’enseigner à nos jeunes », a-t-il déclaré.
Par ailleurs, le président Corréa qui, en octobre, avait menacé de démissionner si le pouvoir législatif approuvait l’avortement, s’est montré partisan de la famille naturelle quitte à paraitre « du temps des cavernes » et « conservateur » : « Je crois en la famille et je crois que cette idéologie du genre et ces nouveautés détruisent la famille traditionnelle, qui reste et qui restera la base de notre société ».
