CHILI – Le président du Chili, Sébastian Pinera, a réaffirmé ce lundi sa position pro-vie et contre l’avortement : « Il est correct et sage d’assumer une position pro-vie et de protéger l’enfant qui va naître » a dit le président au Centre Culturel Matucana 100 de Santiago du Chili. Lors du discours inaugural, le président Pinera a été interrompu plusieurs fois par des promoteurs de l’avortement mais réaffirma sans hésitation sa position et celle de son gouvernement « pour la vie » et la nécessité de promouvoir des politiques plus efficaces pour défendre la vie et résoudre le problème de l’avortement.
« En plusieurs occasions, j’ai dit que je n’étais pas favorable à l’avortement. Il est toujours mieux d’opter pour la vie. Il est correct et sage d’assumer une position pro-vie », a répliqué le président S. Pinera à la responsable d’un centre pro-avortement.
