Un triste événement qui nous rappelle que nous devons porter sans cesse dans notre prière nos frères d’Irak qui donne leur vie pour la Foi.
Communiqué de la Custodie de Terre Sainte
Au cours de l’après-midi du samedi 4 juillet, nous avons perdu contact avec le Père Dhiya Aziz, franciscain Irakien de la Custodie de Terre Sainte, curé à Yacoubieh de la province d’Idlib (district de Jisr al Chougour, Syrie).
Quelques militants d’une brigade armée inconnue, peut-être liée au Front Al-Nosra, l’ont emmené pour un bref entretien avec l’émir du lieu. Depuis lors, nous avons perdu sa trace et sommes dans l’incapacité de dire où il se trouve.
Nous faisons tout notre possible pour localiser le lieu de sa détention et obtenir sa libération.
