Bruxelles – L’Unizo, fédération du patronat flamand, a installé une tente dans le parc Maximilien où s’est établi un campement sauvage d’immigrés face à l’Office des étrangers.
«Nous y fournirons des informations aux demandeurs d’asile -en arabe- sur leur procédure, et nous leurs expliquerons ce qu’ils doivent faire, s’ils peuvent rester dans le pays, pour devenir indépendants ou pour pouvoir travailler», a déclaré une porte-parole de l’Unizo.
L’Unizo, à l’image d’un patronat aux intérêts cosmopolites, affirme aux médias que les demandeurs d’asile ont de nombreuses compétences et représentent un potentiel pour le marché du travail en Europe.
Les patrons de l’Unizo ont également reçu jeudi des informations sur les avantages de mettre au travail des demandeurs d’asile. La préférence étrangère se banalise.
D’autre part, ce vendredi à 14h30, c’est la Fédération des entreprises de Belgique (FEB) qui organise une rencontre entre entreprises et experts, toujours à propos de la main d’œuvre que représente ces nouveaux immigrés pour les grandes entreprises.
En outre, les « partenaires sociaux » se sont mis d’accord sur la réduction de la période d’attente imposée aux demandeurs d’asile avant qu’ils ne soient autorisés à travailler. Elle passera de 6 à 4 mois après leur enregistrement.
