« Erreur » de jeunesse ? L’ex-ministre Nathalie Loiseau, qui mène la liste LREM aux élections européennes du 26 mai prochain et se présente comme principale opposante face à Marine Le Pen, a figuré en 1984, lorsqu’elle était étudiante à Sciences Po (sous nom de jeune fille Nathalie Ducoulombier), sur une liste de l’Union des Etudiants de Droite (UED) avec Christophe Bay, conseiller… de Marine Le Pen.
Nathalie Loiseau fut-elle un jour à la droite de la droite ? L’Union des étudiants de droite (UED), dissoute en 1986, est notamment issue du Groupe union défense (GUD), et du GRECE. 
Approché par Mediapart, l’entourage de Nathalie Loiseau a tout d’abord assuré que le document était « un faux ». Après l’authentification de celui-ci, la candidate macroniste a ensuite assuré qu’elle n’avait « aucun souvenir » de son apparition sur cette liste, avant de reconnaître une « erreur ».
« À ce moment-là, j’ai été, d’après mes recoupements – parce que pour être tout à fait honnête j’avais complètement oublié cet épisode –, approchée pour participer à une liste qui voulait accentuer le pluralisme à Sciences-Po, alors quasi inexistant, et qui cherchait des femmes. J’ai dit oui. »
Assurant ne pas s’être « plus que cela intéressée à cette liste », Nathalie Loiseau ajoute qu’elle aurait « sans doute dû regarder de plus près de quoi il s’agissait ». Elle affirme ne jamais avoir « milité, tracté, fait campagne » pour le syndicat. Et d’ajouter : « Je m’en souviendrais. »
Difficile à croire. Comme le souligne l’album Les rats noirs, l’UED avait notamment suscité la polémique en organisant un meeting sur le thème « Théorie et application de l’apartheid ». Nathalie Loiseau pourrait-elle vraiment ne pas s’en souvenir ?
