Les communistes chinois interdisent de célébrer la naissance de Jésus
Une ordonnance écrite interdit aux membres et aux représentants du gouvernement de célébrer Noël.
Chine – Le Parti communiste chinois a averti ses membres qu’ils ne peuvent en aucun cas fêter Noël ni assister aux célébrations de la Nativité.
L’ordonnance du parti, qui définit la pratique de Noël comme un « opium spirituel » qui « viole la culture chinoise », fait écho à une autre déclaration de la Commission de Contrôle de la Discipline de la ville de Hengyang, dans la province centrale du Hunan, qui exhorte les membres du gouvernement local à ne pas assister à des célébrations de Noël, avertissant que ceux qui violent les dispositions devront «prendre leurs responsabilités».
Pour en revenir à l’ordonnance du parti communiste chinois, elle a été envoyée à tous les fonctionnaires à l’échelle nationale.
«À l’approche de Noël, les dirigeants et les responsables de tous les niveaux devraient promouvoir la culture traditionnelle chinoise et assumer la tâche de construire un foyer spirituel pour le peuple», peut-on lire dans le document.
« Ils doivent sérieusement étudier la doctrine de la conscience de soi culturelle, présentée au 19ème Congrès du Parti, et s’abstenir de célébrer aveuglément les fêtes étrangères ou de s’engager dans les religions occidentales. Ils ne doivent pas participer aux célébrations d’origine occidentale et doivent développer un bon travail de sécurité, à l’occasion de la veillée de Noël et du jour de Noël. «
Une entreprise dans la province nord-ouest du Gansu a dû enlever un sapin de Noël, après avoir reçu des avertissements du bureau local du ministère du Commerce et de l’Industrie. Ces mesures font suite à celle mise en œuvre par l’Université de Shenyang dans le nord-est de la Chine, qui a interdit à ses étudiants de se réunir pour célébrer Noël.
