Jean-Pax Méfret est un personnage atypique qui a mené durant plus de 30 ans une vie de grand reporter baroudeur. Mais le grand public connait plus le chanteur que le journaliste. Car en parallèle de ses reportages, Jean-Pax Méfret n’a jamais cessé de raconter en chansons les grands faits occultés par la pensée unique. Il a été le premier à dénoncer par la chanson le goulag soviétique, le mur de Berlin, les atrocités des Khmers rouges et le calvaire des harkis.

La chanson Noun est le cri de détresse d’une gamine chrétienne d’Orient chassée comme l’ont été les premiers chrétiens. La chanson La Force est un véritable hymne au Christ Roi. Ensuite, Jean-Pax Méfret nous conte cette histoire, à la fois belle et terrible, des chrétiens d’Orient depuis la nuit des temps. Il nous décrit leur martyr, les persécutions subies à répétition, et la force qu’ils puisent dans leur foi. Jean-Pax nous invite à nous en inspirer.
