L’hebdomadaire Le Canard enchaîné révèle que l’Elysée a passé commande d’une nouvelle vaisselle pour un montant astronomique. Est-ce un nouveau caprice de Brigitte Macron qui s’est aussi mise en tête de changer de nombreux éléments de décoration du palais de l’Elysée ? Très probablement.
La commande passée à la manufacture de Sèvres est de « 900 assiettes de présentation et 300 assiettes à pain, soit 1.200 pièces (…), correspondant à l’idée du changement portée par la présidence« . Il a bon dos, le changement…
Et combien cela va-t-il coûter ? L’Elysée a tenté de masquer l’ampleur de la dépense en évoquant la modique somme de 50.000 euros lors d’une interview au JDD. Mais le porte-parole de l’établissement public de Sèvres a reconnu que le montant de 50.000 euros couvre simplement la rétribution des « 30 artistes et designers » qui ont participé au concours lancé en décembre dernier et dont Brigitte Macron a personnellement désigné le gagnant, un certain Evariste Richer.
Son service « Bleu Elysée » devrait, selon Le Canard enchaîné, « atteindre, voire dépasser, le demi-million d’euros« , au vu des tarifs courants affichés par la manufacture. Soit 400 euros pièce pour les assiettes les plus simples et « à partir de 500 euros » pour les modèles contemporains.
La facture sera prélevée sur le budget prévu « pour l’aménagement et l’office des résidences présidentielles.
