Il est mythique en Italie et a servi de modèle au Concours Eurovision de la chanson : le festival de la chanson italienne de Sanremo, créé en 1951.
« Au-delà de son immense succès de télévision, le festival de Sanremo produit une véritable moisson de tubes commerciaux en Italie avec chaque année plusieurs chansons qui se classent en tête des meilleurs ventes de disques » explique la notice wikipedia qui pourra se mettre au goût du jour en précisant que c’est aussi devenu un festival gay friendly.
Depuis des années, il milite ouvertement pour les « droits » des gays, trans et autres en privilégiant sur la scène des chanteurs, des acteurs, des présentateurs télé Lgbt parmi les plus célèbres d’Italie. Chaque année, les journaux titrent : « Le festival le plus gay friendly de l’histoire! » Chaque année il est donc un peu plus gay et un peu moins gai !
Le prochain festival se déroulera prochainement du mardi 9 au samedi 13 février 2016 au théâtre Ariston de Sanremo. Il n’a, parait-il, jamais été aussi gay selon les commentateurs : tous les hôtes sont considérés appartenir à la communauté homosexuelle italienne. Comme ça, pas de jaloux !
A l’heure où la loi Cirinnà sur les unions civiles des personnes de même sexe est débattue au parlement et provoque de nombreuses manifestations hostiles de la part des défenseurs de la famille traditionnelle et du droit des enfants à être élevés par un père et une mère, ces choix délibérés des organisateurs du festival ne sont rien de moins qu’une manière d’influencer les Italiens et les politiciens.
C’est sûr, sans être prophète, je peux déjà vous dire que le gagnant sera…gay friendly ! De quoi pleurer !
