Michel Hazanavicius (The Artist), l’allemande Hanna Schygulla – qui a reçu le premier Prix Lux en 2007 pour Auf der Anderen Seite de Fatih Akin, Laurent Cantet, qui a présidé à Venise le 28ème Times Cinema Jury, et de nombreux autres acteurs et réalisateurs sont venus cette semaine au Parlement européen et à la Commission européenne pour demander de prendre des mesures pour accueillir toujours plus d’immigrés illégaux.
Après avoir écouté l’appel des cinéastes, le président du Parlement européen Schulz a salué leur démarche :
« Je salue très chaleureusement cette initiative. La majorité des Européens sont favorables à l’aide aux réfugiés. (ndlr : il ne doute de rien mais le réveil sera terrible) Grâce à cette initiative et bien d’autres de la société civile, nous montrons que nous restons mobilisés pour trouver une solution équitable dans un esprit de solidarité et d’humanité « .
« Ces cinéastes européens sont venus au Parlement aujourd’hui parce qu’ils comprennent le pouvoir des images (…) », a ajouté le député européen Claude Moraes.
Il est à craindre que tout ce monde du cinéma redouble en effet d’efforts pour mettre ses moyens au service du multiculturalisme et de la propagande immigrationniste et use du poids de l’image pour influencer l’opinion publique.
