Italie – Le ministre de l’Intérieur Matteo Salvini a annoncé lundi le prochain recensement des Roms vivant en Italie, afin éventuellement d’expulser ceux de nationalité étrangère, et « malheureusement » de garder ceux qui ont la nationalité italienne.
M. Salvini, qui est aussi le président de la Ligue, a indiqué lundi sur une télévision régionale en Lombardie (nord), sa région d’origine, qu’il comptait procéder au recensement de la communauté Rom en Italie, pour « voir qui, comment et combien ils sont ». Cela permettra, a-t-il expliqué, d’évaluer la possibilité d’expulser ceux de nationalité étrangère qui se trouveraient en situation irrégulière ; quant aux « Roms italiens, malheureusement, tu dois te les garder à la maison », a-t-il déclaré lors de cette émission.
