Le blog maçonnique de L’Express signale que le 25 novembre, le Ministre de l’Education nationale Jean-Michel Blanquer « est venu plancher comme invité principal du Dîner annuel de la Grande Loge de France« .
Le ministre a pris la parole devant 200 convives réunis au siège de la GLDF, rue Puteaux à Paris.

J’ai demandé au Ministre: «Quelle est votre relation avec la franc-maçonnerie?». Jean-Michel Blanquer m’a spontanément répondu: «J’ai écrit un livre sur Michel Baroin.» Cet ouvrage sur l’ancien Grand Maître du GODF intitulé «Michel Baroin: les secrets d’une influence» a été publié en 1993. Après la nomination de Blanquer comme ministre, en mai 2017, François Baroin a confié: «Mon père l’adorait.».
«Je suis très intéressé par les rituels maçonniques, me précise le ministre de l’EN. J’aurais pu devenir initié, mais maintenant, c’est trop tard. J’ai de la sympathie pour la franc-maçonnerie, sinon, je ne serais pas ici.»
