Pauvre Jeanne d’Arc ! Qui aurait imaginé son nom et ses vertus associés à celui d’Audrey Pulvar ?
C’est pourtant l’idée saugrenue qui a germé dans la tête du maire d’Orléans, Serge Grouard (UMP).
Ce matin, il a annoncé officiellement qu’Audrey Pulvar serait l’invitée d’honneur des Fêtes de Jeanne d’Arc 2015 et qu’elle présiderait les cérémonies qui se dérouleront le 8 mai à Orléans.
» Après les attentats de Paris, j’ai souhaité que l’invitée des fêtes symbolise la liberté d’expression. Audrey Pulvar est une journaliste qui a fait preuve d’une liberté de ton et d’une certaine impertinence qui lui sont parfois reprochées. « , a déclaré Serge Grouard dans une vidéo de la République du Centre.
Il est vrai que, ces dernières années, la ville d’Orléans a multiplié les contrastes saisissants. Audrey Pulvar succède ainsi à Rachida Dati (2008) et Élisabeth Guigou (1997) parmi les personnalités invitées à présider aux Fêtes Johanniques.
On se demande ce qu’Audrey Pulvar viendra faire là. Tout l’oppose à la sainte célébrée ce jour-là à Orléans en présence des corps religieux et militaire. Quatre évêques, Mgr René Dupont (évêque émérite d’Andong en Corée du sud), Mgr Jean-Marc Eychenne (évêque de Pamiers, Couserans et Mirepoix), Mgr François Maupu (évêque émérite de Verdun) et Mgr Nicolas Souchu (évêque auxiliaire de Rennes, Dol et Saint-Malo), seront présents sur le parvis de la cathédrale puis se joindront au cortège.
Le maire Serge Grouard a par ailleurs annoncé que l’organisation des Fêtes de Jeanne d’Arc serait moins « faste ». La fête médiévale du 1er mai sur l’île Charlemagne ne sera pas reconduite cette année. Et le défilé militaire sera également moins important.
