Le maire de Saint-Denis, Didier Paillard, a annoncé vendredi porter plainte contre Le Figaro magazine au sujet de la Une publiée le 20 mai et titrée « Molenbeek-sur-Seine, l’islamisme au quotidien« .
Selon le maire, il s’agit d’ « un tissu d’inexactitudes » qui « porte atteinte à l’image de la ville« .
Dans son communiqué, le maire se dit « profondément affecté » par cet article, surtout pour « les membres de la communauté musulmane qui sont clairement montrés du doigt » selon lui.
Le maire a également prévu une rencontre avec les habitants de Saint-Denis, le mardi 7 juin à 19h à l’hôtel de ville pour évoquer « avec les Dionysiens leur ressenti face à cet article et les questions que cela (…) pose« .
Et pourtant, nul doute que le maire de Saint-Denis était il y a quelques mois un Charlie. Mais apparemment, il doit considérer que dénoncer l’islamisme est plus scandaleux que de blasphémer.
