Le CRIF redouble d’initiatives depuis quelques semaines. Pour en prendre toute la mesure, voici un zapping arrière dans l’agenda de Roger Cukierman durant le mois de mars.
. Le 31 mars, Roger Cukierman, président du CRIF, commentait les résultats des élections départementales aux côtés d’Alain Duhamel, éditorialiste sur RTL, et de Dominique Reynié, professeur à Science Po, lors d’une soirée des Amis du CRIF animée par Wendy Bouchard, journaliste à Europe 1 et M6 dans une salle de l’Hôtel Intercontinental Le Grand, dans le 9ème arrondissement de Paris..
. Le jeudi 26 mars, en soirée, Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, ministre de l’Education nationale, Bernard Cazeneuve, ministre de l’Intérieur, Nicolas Sarkozy, président de l’UMP, Bernard-Henri Lévy et l’ambassadeur d’Israël se sont retrouvés à Toulouse pour un « rassemblement républicain » organisé à l’initiative du… CRIF et de l’ACIT (Association Cultuelle Israélite de Toulouse).
A cette occasion, Nicolas Sarkozy s’est adressé aux Juifs :
« Vous appartenez à l’Histoire de la France, ses malheurs, son miracle : la France ne serait pas la France sans la présence du judaïsme et des juifs de France. »
Quant à Bernard Cazeneuve, il a déclaré au cours de son discours :
« (…) si vous partez, c’est la France qui se met à genoux ! »
Le mot de conclusion est revenu à Bernard-Henri Lévy qui a amalgamé une fois de plus antisémitisme et antisionisme.
. Les 23 et 24 mars, Roger Cukierman, président du CRIF, était l’invité du World Jewish Congress à Washington. Précisons que Roger Cukierman est vice-président du World Jewish Congress. A cette occasion, il a pu s’entretnir avec Jo Biden, vice-président des Etats-Unis.
. Le 11 mars, Roger Cukierman a présenté le CRIF lors d’une soirée organisée par le club Féminin Pluriel – The Global Women Network.
. Le 3 mars, Roger Cukierman et une délégation du CRIF ont été invités à déjeuner par Gérard Araud, ambassadeur de France à Washington. Après le déjeuner, Roger Cukierman a donné une conférence de presse pour les journalistes américains invités à l’Ambassade de France.
. Le 2 mars, Roger Cukierman et la délégation du CRIF étaient reçus au Congrès américain pour aborder notamment la question du contrôle d’internet.
. Le 1er mars, Roger Cukierman et la délégation du CRIF ont participé à la session générale de l’American Israël Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) qui réunissait 16.000 délégués à Washington.
Le contrôle d’internet est l’un des enjeux majeurs du lobbying du CRIF en ce moment.
