Mathieu Madénian gagne sa vie en tant qu’humoriste et chroniqueur pour différents médias. Au cours d’une émission de Jean-Marc Morandini, le 26 septembre 2011, il avait traité les électeurs du Front National de « fils de p…« . Une chronique élégante qui lui a valu d’être condamné en 2013 pour « injures publiques« .
Annoncé au Festival du rire de Saint-Raphaël qui se déroulera le 21 septembre prochain, Mathieu Madénian a été déprogrammé à la demande du maire UMP Georges Ginesta qui explique : « On peut ne pas être d’accord avec un parti politique, mais ce n’est pas une raison pour insulter les Français« .
Une attitude responsable d’un maire à saluer, d’autant qu’il n’était pas directement concerné. Une leçon de responsabilité politique dont ferait bien de s’inspirer Julien Sanchez, le maire FN de Beaucaire, qui a laissé Madénian se produire le 19 juillet dernier à l’espace culturel Daudet de Beaucaire…
