Le Puy du Fou a donc pu faire entendre raison au gouvernement. Dans une lettre adressée à Philippe de Villiers, la Présidence de la République indique que l’article sur le bénévolat n’étant pas encore finalisé, il ne fera pas partie du texte de loi. Cependant il y aura bien un projet sur la « Création artistique » comme le précise le Puy du Fou. Notons que ce retrait s’apparente plus à une reculade qu’à un retrait définitif puisqu’il ne figure pas faute de peaufinement. Il faut y entendre que le gouvernement ne s’attendait pas à une levée de boucliers aussi rapide ni que le projet ne fuite et préfère donc éviter un autre mouvement de contestation.
