Voilà un message que tous les Black Lives Matter d’Amérique et d’Europe devraient écouter attentivement.
Barbara Oteng-Gyasi, ministère ghanéen du Tourisme, a invité les Afro-Américains à s’installer au Ghana s’ils se sentent indésirables aux Etats-Unis.
Prenant la parole à l’occasion d’une commémoration en l’honneur de George Floyd, la ministre a déclaré :
«Profitez-en, rentrez chez vous, construisez une vie au Ghana, vous n’avez pas à rester là où vous n’êtes pas désirés pour toujours, vous avez le choix et l’Afrique vous attend»
« L’Afrique est votre maison »
Les déclarations de la ministre Barbara Oteng-Gyasi ont été relayées par The Independent Ghana.
«Nous continuons à ouvrir nos bras et à inviter tous nos frères et soeurs à rentrer chez eux», a-t-elle ajouté.
L’année dernière, le Ghana a lancé l’initiative «l’année du retour». Celle-ci consiste à ouvrir le pays à l’accueil des Africains de la diaspora.
Que tous les Noirs qui se sentent victimes de racisme en Europe et en Amérique saisissent cette opportunité.
