Ce n’était plus arrivé depuis 1972 mais Hollande accumule les exceptions. Réunis jeudi matin en assemblée générale, les présidents de clubs ont arrêté le principe d’une grève contre la future taxe à 75% le week-end du 30 novembre (15e journée de Ligue 1 et 16e journée de ligue 2). «Il y aura un week-end sans matches avec une journée portes ouvertes dans les clubs», a annoncé Jean-Pierre Louvel, le président de l’UCPF. Le moment choisi pour cette mobilisation correspond à la date du vote de la loi de finances 2014, prévu entre fin novembre et début décembre. Une menace de grève avait déjà été brandie pour les matches de la 11e journée, ce week-end. «J’approuve la détermination des clubs français», a commenté Frédéric Thiriez, le président de la LFP.
«Il s’agit de sauver le football français qui représente 25 000 emplois», a tonné Jean-Pierre Louvel. Il a rappelé que le foot pro verse 750 millions d’euros de taxes, 130 millions d’euros d’aides au football amateur, et mène des milliers d’actions caritatives.
