Le film The Cut (La Blessure), présenté dimanche à la Mostra de Venise, revient sur le Génocide arménien de 1915 qui a causé la mort de près d’un million et demi de chrétiens, majoritairement arméniens mais aussi syro-chaldéens et grecs. Un sujet à l’actualité brûlante au regard de ce que subissent en ce moment les chrétiens d’Irak. Sans surprise, le film subit une vive critique en Turquie. Fatih Akin, le réalisateur du film, reçoit des menaces de mort.

Ci-dessous, la bande-annonce du film qui devrait sortir en France le 14 janvier 2015 pour commémorer le centenaire du génocide.
