Danemark – Le Parti populaire danois (droite nationale), a remporté les élections européennes au Danemark avec 26,7% des voix, selon les résultats définitifs rendus publics.
Ces résultats donnent au Dansk Folkeparti (Parti populaire danois – DF) quatre des treize sièges dévolus au Danemark au Parlement européen, soit deux fois plus que lors des précédentes élections européennes en 2009.
Le DF a largement distancé les sociaux-démocrates au pouvoir à Copenhague, qui obtiennent 19,1% des voix et voient leur nombre de sièges au Parlement européen réduit de quatre à trois.
Pia Kjaersgaard, cofondatrice du DF, a exprimé sa fierté : « Mon cœur de mère se gonfle tellement je suis fière », a déclaré Mme Kjaersgaard à la télévision publique danoise.
Ici encore, en devenant premier parti du Danemark, le DF devrait influencer les discours officiels du Danemark au sein des institutions européennes.
