Faye Tamsir, consul du Sénégal à Marseille
Faye Tamsir, consul général du Sénégal dans la cité phocéenne, âgé de 38 ans, a été interpellé rue Paradis dans le 8è arrondissement à Marseille par une patrouille de la brigade anti-criminalité (Bac). Au moment de son arrestation, les policiers ignoraient son identité et sa qualité.
Une riveraine avait prévenu la police de ce qu’un homme, passablement alcoolisé, vociférait dans la rue tout en exhibant son sexe, allant même jusqu’à se frotter à un compteur France Telecom. Alors que les policiers embarquaient l’individu, celui-ci les insultait et les menaçait de mort. Il n’a fallu que quelques coups de téléphone pour confirmer ses dires : il s’agissait du consul général du Sénégal à Marseille.
Lequel a été récupéré au commissariat du 8e arrondissement par son épouse. Pour l’heure, au vu de son immunité diplomatique, aucune poursuite n’est engagée contre le représentant des Sénégalais à Marseille. (Source: La Provence)
