Pérou – Le Congrès péruvien a adopté une nouvelle loi qui stipule de nécessité publique et d’intérêt national la fête et la restauration du sanctuaire de Notre-Dame de la Miséricorde, situé sur la colline des trois croix à Paita, Piura.
Le congrès a voté cette loi le jeudi 25 Septembre dans l’après-midi et Mgr Eguren, archevêque de Piura, a noté que c’était « une très bonne et heureuse nouvelle pour tous les habitants de Paita et de la Piura. »
De plus, a dit l’évêque, c’est un miracle et un don de la Sainte Vierge car ces nouvelles viennent un jour après la célébration de la fête de Notre-Dame.
Cette initiative, lancée par l’évêque et certains membres du Congrès, fait partie de la campagne «Tous pour la Mechita » qui vise à amasser des fonds pour restaurer le Sanctuaire de Notre-Dame de la Miséricorde de Paita.
Une campagne a été lancé pour obtenir « une aide financière substantielle, qui s’ajoutera au 1,8 millions de soles donnés jusqu’à présent par des fidèles dévots pour permettre la restauration du sanctuaire ».
