Le Collectif contre le racisme et l’islamophobie (CRI) avait saisi vendredi dernier le tribunal administratif de Montpellier, réclamant les fichiers soit disant tenus par la mairie de Béziers à la demande de son maire Robert Ménard. Le tribunal a rejeté aujourd’hui la requête de l’association d’une façon cinglante :
«L’existence sous forme matérielle ou informatique de fichiers recensant spécifiquement les élèves de confession musulmane inscrits dans les écoles publiques n’était pas démontrée (…) Il en a tiré la conclusion qu’il ne pouvait être ordonné à la commune de cesser d’élaborer de tels fichiers ou d’en remettre les supports matériels ou informatiques existants.»
