Salvator Mundi, ce tableau représentant le Christ, Sauveur du Monde, a été adjugé, le 16 novembre dernier, pour 450 millions d’euros à un inconnu…. Attribué à Léonard de Vinci, il est considéré le tableau vendu le plus cher au monde

Désormais, d’après le Wall Steet Journal de jeudi dernier, on connaîtrait son heureux propriétaire : le prince héritier d’Arabie saoudite, Mohammed ben Salmane, surnommé « MBS », artisan d’une réforme promouvant une certaine ouverture du royaume saoudien. Le tableau aurait été acheté par un intermédiaire proche du prince héritier, le prince saoudien Bader ben Abdullah ben Mohammed ben Farhan Al-Saud.

Cette toile de grand prix, véritable joyau de l’art chrétien, devrait devenir le clou du tout jeune musée des Émirats arabes unis, le Louvre Abu Dhabi, inauguré en grande pompe début novembre, et qui réalise ainsi un véritable coup de marketing…

Mais marketing ou pas, le Christ, Sauveur du Monde, se retrouve ainsi célébré et loué en plein cœur du monde musulman !
