Même si le blanc reste la couleur prédominante des jeunes filles présentes, au prochain grand bal des débutantes, événement mondain qui se déroule à Vienne depuis 1935, ce sont les couleurs de l’arc-en-ciel du lobby Lgbt qui y seront à l’honneur. Pour la première fois un « couple » de femmes pourra y participer. Il s’agit de Sophie Grau et Iris Klopfer et elles se définissent non comme un duo lesbien mais comme un couple queer, c’est-à-dire étrange.
Le but de leur présence expliquent-elles :
« lancer un signal d’égalité des chances pour les couples de même sexe dans une manifestation traditionnellement conservatrice. »
Iris d’ajouter :
« Pour moi, c’est très simple [d’y participer] parce que je me sens femme à 100 %, mais avec notre présence je veux appuyer Sophie dans son souhait de rompre les canons sexuels. »
Maria Grossbauer, la marraine du grand bal, a retenu « absolument juste d’accueillir le couple de femmes qui respectent le critère principal : celui de savoir danser le Dreiviertel Walser ». Mais un autre critère est essentiel pour être admis au bal, les femmes doivent porter une robe longue blanche et les hommes le frac. Et ainsi, le 20 février prochain, Iris sera habillée de blanc et coiffée de la tiare et Sophie du frac avec les manchettes.
L’assaut de la révolution arc-en-ciel aux valeurs traditionnelles et naturelles passent aussi par une valse !
