La libération d’Asia Bibi n’est pas encore effective. Elle ne le sera vraiment que quand la femme chrétienne obtiendra l’autorisation de quitter avec sa famille le Pakistan où les islamistes veulent sa mort.
Dans cette attente, le cauchemar continue. Ces jours derniers, des coups de pistolet ont été tirés sur le portail de la maison dans laquelle habitent les filles d’Asia Bibi :
« Nous avons peur. Ces jours-ci, ils ont tirés des coups de pistolet contre notre maison. Nous recevons constamment des menaces et en plusieurs occasions j’ai été suivi »
a raconté à l’association Aide à l’Église en détresse, Joseph Nadeem, l’homme qui protège la famille d’Asia Bibi.
Asia Bibi continue Nadeen est consciente de la situation dangereuse dans laquelle vivent ses filles à Eisham.
« Je l’ai rencontrée à peine elle a été libérée et chaque jour nous parlons au téléphone. Elle est très préoccupée pour ses filles. »
Les deux jeunes filles n’ont pas pu encore revoir leur mère depuis sa sortie de prison.
« Asia ne voit pas l’heure de les rencontrer et elle espère pourvoir quitter rapidement le pays avec elles et son mari. Nous attendons de pouvoir quitter vite le Pakistan pour vivre dans un lieu sûr. L’Aide à l’Église en détresse a été la première a nous offrir l’hospitalité. Nous espérons que nos deux familles pourront passer Noël à Rome. »
