Selon la BBC des policiers camerounais ont fait un assaut sur une maison où ils ont libéré 71 enfants. Certains d’entre eux ont passé trois ans dans la maison, située aux abords de Ngaoundéré, chef-lieu de la région de l’Adamaoua, dans la partie nord du pays.
La maison appartient à un maître d’école coranique qui a été arrêté par les policiers
Selon les medias locaux, le propriétaire de la maison a déclaré que les parents ont volontairement envoyé leurs enfants dans « ce centre de redressement ».
Certains des enfants sont en mauvais état. Ils ont été soignés puis rendus à leurs familles. Outre cela, ils ont découvert dix femmes affirme l’AFP.
