Canada – Le B’nai B’rith de Montréal essaie, avec le soutien du Centre consultatif des relations juives et israéliennes (CIJA-Québec), d’empêcher l’entrée au Canada de Dieudonné, qui est attendu, du 11 au 16 mai, pour une tournée de 10 spectacles déjà complets prévus à l’est de Montréal.
Steven Slimovitch, l’avocat de l’organisation maçonnique juive, a déclaré à la télévision canadienne CBC que sa cliente avait l’intention de déposer une plainte auprès de l’Agence de Services de Frontière du Canada.
A la suite de cette polémique relayée par les médias, le maire de Montréal, Denis Coderre, a twitté « Quand on fait la promotion de la haine, on fait la promotion de la division sociale ».
Le spectacle prévu à Montréal, intitulé « Dieudonné en Paix », a été décrit comme plus soft que ses autres spectacles. « Il n’y a rien d’insultant, rien de dégradant, rien de raciste », a souligné le propriétaire de la salle, Mushagalusa Chigoho, à CBC.
