Comme nous l’avons vu pour les autres continents, voici les dernières données du World Factbook de la CIA publiées le 16 janvier 2018 sur l’amplitude migratoire des états asiatiques et océaniens :

Pays au solde migratoire positif :

• Accroissement de plus de 0,6 % : Syrie (+ 6,15 %), Qatar (+1,46), Singapour (+ 1,31), Bahreïn (+ 1,21) et Emirats Arabes Unis (+ 1,05)
• Accroissement de plus de 0,4 % : Australie (+ 0,55)
• Accroissement de plus de 0,2 % : Nouvelle-Calédonie (+ 0,39), Macao (+ 0,33), Corée du Sud (+ 0,25), Brunei (+ 0,24), Nouvelle-Zélande (+ 0,22) et Israël (+ 0,22).
• Accroissement de moins de 0,2 % : Hong-Kong (+ 0,17), Taïwan (+ 0,09), Palau (+ 0,08), Kazakhstan (+ 0,04) et Yémen (+ 0,04).

Pays au solde équilibré :  Bhoutan, Inde, Japon, Jordanie, Corée du Nord, Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée et Thaïlande.

Pays au solde migratoire négatif :

• Diminution de moins de 0,2 % : Turkménistan (- 0,18), Iles Salomon (- 0,17), Myanmar (- 0,15), Vanuatu (- 0,14), Sri Lanka (- 0,13), Pakistan (- 0,13), Irak (- 0,12), Laos (- 0,11), Indonésie (- 0,11), Tadjikistan (- 0,11), Afghanistan (- 0,09), Mongolie (- 0,08), Polynésie Française (- 0,08), Arabie Saoudite (- 0,05), Oman (- 0,04), Chine (- 0,04), Cambodge (- 0,03), Malaisie (- 0,03), Vietnam (- 0,03) et Iran (- 0,02).
• Diminution de plus de 0,2 % : Timor oriental (- 0,39), Bangladesh (- 0,31), Kiribati (- 0,29), Koweït (- 0,24), Népal (- 0,22), Ouzbékistan (- 0,22) et Philippines (- 0,2).
• Diminution de plus de 0,4 % : Gaza (- 0,51), Kirghizistan (- 0,51), Iles Marshall (- 0,47), Wallis et Futuna (- 0,47), Turquie (- 0,45) et Palestine (- 0,45).
• Diminution de plus de 0,6 % : Samoa américaines (- 2,67), Micronésie (- 2,09), Liban (- 2,03), Tonga (- 1,78), Mariannes (- 1,52), Nauru (- 1,28), Maldives (- 1,27), Guam (- 1,11), Samoa (- 0,91), Tuvalu (- 0,67) et Fidji (-0,65).

La tendance des pays par rapport au rapport du 1^er janvier 2017 est variable (le chiffre correspond à celui du 1^er janvier 2018 soustrait de celui du 1^er janvier 2017) :

• Intensification de l’accroissement : Palau (+ 0,01).
• Ralentissement de l’accroissement : Qatar (- 0,36), Emirats Arabes Unis (- 0,08), Singapour (-0,05), Bahreïn (-0,05), Yémen (- 0,03), Nouvelle-Calédonie (- 0,01), Macao (- 0,01) et Corée du Sud (- 0,01).
• Pays passé du déficit à l’excédent migratoire : Syrie (+ 6,36) et Jordanie (+ 1,34).
• Statut quo : Brunei, Israël, Nouvelle-Zélande, Hong Kong, Taïwan, Kazakhstan, Bhoutan, Inde, Japon, Jordanie, Corée du Nord, Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée, Thaïlande, Vietnam, Malaisie, Oman, Chine, Arabie Saoudite, Polynésie Française, Mongolie, Tadjikistan, Laos, Sri Lanka, Vanuatu, Iles Salomon, Turkménistan, Philippines, Kiribati, Bangladesh, Timor oriental, Tonga, Micronésie et Maldives.
• Ralentissement de la diminution : Samoa (+ 0,04), Nauru (+ 0,04), Afghanistan (+ 0,03), Cambodge (+ 0,02), Wallis & Futuna (+ 0,02), Indonésie (+ 0,01), Pakistan (+ 0,01), Ouzbékistan (+ 0,01), Palestine (+ 0,01), Iles Marshall (+ 0,01), Gaza (+ 0,01), Kirghizistan (+ 0,01), Fidji (+ 0,01) et Tuvalu (+ 0,01).
• Intensification de la diminution : Liban (- 1,92), Samoa Américaines (- 0,61), Guam (- 0,6), Turquie (- 0,33), Myanmar (- 0,12), Koweït (- 0,04), Népal (- 0,03) et Iran (- 0,01).
• Pays passé de l’excédent au déficit migratoire : Mariannes (- 2,26) et Irak (- 0,27).

Notons l’exode au départ des petites îles du Pacifique (il n’y pas de travail) et les premiers aspects de la fin relative de la guerre en Syrie (retour des réfugiés). Comme en Europe, on constate un tassement de l’immigration dans les pays d’immigration et celui de l’exil dans les pays d’émigration.
