L’Etat Islamique vient d’être repoussé de Palmyre par les troupes syriennes. Au-delà de la préservation de cette ville aux sites antiques, dont les médias occidentaux s’inquiétaient hypocritement du risque de destruction par les islamistes qu’ils soutiennent, c’est une grande victoire de l’armée syrienne qui se bat quasiment seule contre Daesh armé et financé par les Occidentaux et les pays du golfe.
Alors que ces derniers jours les islamistes avaient réussi à prendre le contrôle d’une bonne partie de la ville, l’armée syrienne a repris un ensemble de sites stratégiques, dont des collines, des barrages ainsi que la tour de la radio et télévision de Palmyre.
