L’armée irakienne a découvert un hangar rempli d’armes américaines, notamment des missiles TOW-2, dans une zone venant d’être libérée des djihadistes de l’Etat Islamique.
C’est loin d’être la première fois que du matériel de pointe américain se retrouve chez les djihadistes. Des missiles TOW-2 ont déjà été découverts tant chez les fanatiques de l’Etat Islamique que chez leurs concurrents du Front al-Nosra.
Le Pentagone prétend que ces armes « ont disparu l’année dernière ».
Les médias irakiens rapportent toutefois que les munitions et les roquettes avaient été parachutées par les Américains.
« Il est dommage que nos collègues américains ne se mettent pas du côté de ceux qui se battent contre le terrorisme et qui condamnent les attaques terroristes. Deux poids deux mesures ! Nous devons malheureusement le constater de nouveau. », a commenté le ministre russe des Affaires étrangères Sergueï Lavrov.
