Depuis la nuit des temps, les comètes sont considérées comme annonciatrices de grands événements.
Ci-dessous une photo du 15 juillet 2020, qui m’a inspiré l’illustration du Mont Saint Michel…
Durant ce mois de Juillet, nous avons eu la visite de la comète Neowise (nouveau-sage…)
L’archange St Michel, Saint patron de la France, nous met-il en garde ?
Un signe hautement poétique en tous cas…

Et Soudain, comme un spectre entre en une maison,
Apparu, par-dessus le farouche horizon,
Une flamme emplissant des millions de lieues,
Monstrueuse lueur des immensités bleues,
Splendide au fond du ciel brusquement éclairci;
Et l’astre effrayant dit aux hommes: « Me voici ! »La comète, Victor HUGO – La Légende des siècles
