Mélanie, la jeune fille atteinte de trisomie 21 qui va présenter un bulletin météo sur France 2 et BFMTV le 27 mars prochain, suscite différentes réactions médiatiques.
Julie Graziani, une chroniqueuse de l’émission « Le Club 28 » diffusée sur Arte, très touchée par cette histoire, déclare : « Je trouve ça très émouvant. Derrière le sourire de cette jeune femme, il y a toute la condition des personnes trisomiques dans notre société. Les choses vont dans le bon sens. Ce sont des personnes discriminées dans des conditions épouvantables. 96% des bébés diagnostiqués trisomiques sont avortés avant leur naissance« .
« Pour vous c’est de la discrimination? », lui a demandé la journaliste Nadia Daam. Arrive alors la réponse qui va désarçonner les participants à cette émission de télévision :
« Totalement, ça vous viendrait à l’idée d’avorter d’un bébé parce qu’il est noir? », a répondu Julie Graziani.
