Ces 5 et 6 février, la Porte de Versailles accueillera le « Paris Halal Summit », nouveau salon entièrement dédié à l’univers du produit halal.
Ce salon s’adresse notamment au circuit de la grande distribution ainsi qu’aux chaînes de restauration. 3.000 visiteurs y sont attendus et il est souligné que 30% des exposants sont étrangers et viennent de Thaïlande, de Malaisie, du Maroc, de Tunisie, de Turquie, mais aussi du Brésil et… des Etats-Unis !
Le marché du halal en pleine expansion semble être une bonne affaire financière pour certains industriels. Le halal représentait un chiffre d’affaires de 5,5 milliards d’euros en France pour la seule année 2012 avec une croissance estimée à 10%.
Ce nouveau salon présentera donc un focus sur le Ramadan 2014 avec un linéaire de produits dédiés à destination des supermarchés français.
