On vit vraiment une époque renversante !
En avril dernier, une femme qui allaitait dans un local de l’université de Parme, en toute discrétion, a été éloignée. Car son allaitement était discriminant… L’Ordre des Obstétriciens italiens a défendu cette femme :
« Un geste physiologique et naturel qui doit être protégé, promu et soutenu. »
Mais pas selon la revue Pediatrics qui en fait une critique que l’on pourrait qualifier de loufoque si le sujet n’était si grave :
« Associer la nature à la maternité peut par inadvertance soutenir des argumentations biologiquement déterministes sur le rôle des hommes et des femmes dans la famille (par exemple, que se devrait être principalement les femmes à prendre soin des enfants). […] Faire référence au « naturel » dans la promotion de l’allaitement au sein peut par inadvertance soutenir une série de valeurs sur la vie familiale et sur le rôle des genres, qui serait éthiquement inappropriée. »
En bref, allaiter au sein est un geste que peuvent seulement faire les femmes et non les transsexuels ; allaiter au sein fait appel au rôle naturel établi par mère nature. Donc il faut l’interdire parce que source de discriminations !
