Arnaud-Aaron Upinsky, linguiste, épistémologiste et mathématicien, mène un ardent combat contre la disparition de tout ce qui fait la grandeur de la France. Il s’est élevé contre la dénaturation de l’art à Versailles, contre la réforme de l’enseignement des mathématiques et plus récemment, contre la réforme de l’orthographe. Il profite de sa candidature à l’Académie Française pour rappeler cette institution aux devoirs que lui avait fixés le cardinal de Richelieu. La défense de la langue française ne passe pas par l’enrichissement du vocabulaire, mais par le respect des règles grammaticales, la promotion de la poétique et son illustration. Si quatre-vingt pour-cent des Français se déclarent opposés à la réforme de l’orthographe, c’est que le français est la richesse des pauvres et des sans-grades.
