Grand jour de fête au couvent Saint-Antoine d’Aurenque où deux novices ont pris le pauvre habit des capucins à l’occasion de la solennité du Christ-Roi, dimanche 29 octobre 2017.
Un grand concours de fidèles venus de toute la France, mais surtout du doyenné d’Aquitaine, avaient tenus à être présents pour montrer leur attachement au nouveau Père Benoît Régis(1), l’un des sept doyens signataires de la FSSPX de la lettre publique « À propos de nos mariages ».
On notait particulièrement la présence des abbés Thierry Legrand (également « doyen émérite » signataire !) et Benoît Joseph de Villemagne qui entouraient de leur amitié sacerdotale leur ancien confrère.
De nombreux autres prêtres du district et des communautés amies s’étaient faits excuser en raison de leur apostolat dominical et ont assuré le nouveau religieux de leur soutien passé et présent. Aucune autorité de Suresnes n’avait fait le déplacement.
(1) Régis est aussi le prénom de baptème de l’ex-abbé de Cacqueray, aujourd’hui Père Joseph, duquel l’abbé Aldalur se revendique d’être le « fils spirituel ».
