Le cinéma parisien Le Grand Rex, spécialisé dans les projections de films appartenant à l’histoire du cinéma, a pu depuis peu reprendre ses activités après une longue période de fermeture imposée par les directives gouvernementales de confinement. Parmi sa programmation pour les prochaines semaines, il avait prévu de permettre aux spectateurs de (re)découvrir le 23 juin le film Autant en emporte le vent (Gone with The Wind).
Or, par l’entremise de son compte Twitter, le cinéma Le Grand Rex nous apprend que la Warner Bros lui a demandé d’annuler la projection.
Si on prend en compte que la dictature du politiquement correct imposée par la vague Black Lives Matter a également dans le collimateur une longue liste de personnages tels que Christophe Collomb, Napoléon, Colbert, Churchill, etc, on peut se demander si les cinémas pourront bientôt projeter autre chose qu’un biopic sur Nelson Mandela ou Malcolm X.
