Turquie – Le Ministre de la Justice, Bekir Bozdag , a annoncé le 14 avril un plan visant à regrouper les prisonniers homosexuels dans des prisons spéciales.
Bozdag répondait au Parlement à une question de l’opposition sur la situation des lesbiennes, gays, bisexuels et transgenres ( LGBT ) dans les prisons turques.
Le ministre a dit que le projet est encore en développement et qu’il étudie » la construction de prisons séparées pour les détenus ayant des orientations sexuelles différentes. »
Il a noté que dans les nouvelles prisons, ces détenus ne partagent pas les espaces communs avec d’autres prisonniers.
Aujourd’hui, la coutume veut qu’un détenu LGBT déclare son orientation sexuelle et soit mis en cellule avec d’autres homosexuels.
