La Suède envisage-t-elle une guerre imminente ? La question a de quoi surprendre. Pourtant, ces jours-ci, les autorités suédoises entament la distribution à toute sa population d’une brochure, disponible en treize langues, expliquant sur vingt pages ce qu’il faudra faire si la guerre est déclenchée !
Cette brochure envisage également l’éventualité d’une attaque terroriste ou d’une cyber-attaque paralysant les systèmes informatiques du pays.
La brochure contient une liste de tout ce qu’il convient de stocker en permanence chez soi, des boîtes de conserve de denrées alimentaires aux bougies. Cette brochure énumère également comment reconnaître les différentes alertes sonores.
La brochure exalte aussi le sentiment patriotique des Suédois, affirmant que si la Suède est attaquée par un autre pays, elle n’abandonnera jamais, toute information annonçant le contraire devant être considérée comme fausse.
Quelle est donc la nature des craintes des autorités suédoises justifiant cette campagne ? Stockholm avait été frappée par un attentat islamiste, il y a un peu plus d’un an, créant une soudaine angoisse dans tout le pays. Mais la brochure traite avant tout d’une véritable guerre militaire. Sans que ce soit explicite, tout le monde comprend ici que la Suède envisage une guerre contre la Russie.
L’année dernière, le gouvernement suédois avait déjà rétabli le service militaire et consacré plus de moyens pour renforcer son armée. Les bunkers et autres abris sont remis en état. Et, en cas de guerre, les autorités ont même prévu la mobilisation de tous les hommes valides de 16 à 70 ans au sein d’une sorte de défense passive.
